Aside from having his CF-L1, I also proudly can carry all three of my children up the stairs at the same time,

be victorious against them in a foot race, and perform push ups with them on my back.

Granted, they are all under six years old, but hey-- it's something.

I grew up in southeastern Wisconsin, and after living in Chicago, Oregon, and Arizona made my way back to the Milwaukee area in 2019 with my family. This is when I was first introduced to Badger CrossFit and, soon after, wanted to get my CF-L1 and be part of the unmatched coaching staff. CrossFit-- and coaching-- became an essential staple in my life after playing football through college. I was craving a sport that would push me physically and mentally and CrossFit has served as that outlet.
In all seriousness, when I could no longer identify myself as an athlete when my college football career ended, I entered into a pretty tough period of my life. We all face big monumental shifts in our lives eventually and need to rewrite our rhythms, clarify our direction, and take risks to avoid unintentionally drifting into a life void of meaning and purpose. I was fortunate to have people in my life that helped me move toward health, meaning and purpose by bringing light and life into a dark time emotionally. My faith, CrossFit, and the beautiful people that surround me play a big part in what motivates me day to day.
Now, my passion is to bring light into the lives of others and to help people find a life filled with meaning and purpose. We only have one life to live and everyone deserves to play the hero in their own story. Whether through facilitating a \"lightbulb\" moment on a snatch, giving a smile and a fistbump, or helping someone clarify the vision they have for their life, my goal is to make memorable and impactful moments for the people I cross paths with.
