Coming into CrossFit my strengths were anything with the barbell. I loved to throw around heavy weight. As I have evolved as an athlete, I have developed new skills and strengths. Handstand walks were a huge accomplishment for me and I love teaching them as much as I love doing them. Another personal accomplishment of mine over the years of CrossFit was being able to do all 100 pull ups in the annual memorial day Murph workout. A favorite workout of mine will always be Grace though, a classic barbell sprint. It is 30 clean and jerks for time.

I am a CrossFit Level 2 Coach. She has been coaching at Badger CrossFit since 2019. I found my passion for CrossFit in college when was studying for my degree in Sport and Exercise Science when I job shadowed head coach Tina for a school assignment in 2018. Growing up I was always a competitive kid and enjoyed playing sports. I played volleyball. Softball, basketball, golf, and race motocross. I always loved learning new sports and playing sports. As I transitioned out of competing in sports myself I started coaching youth gymnastics and taught spin classes. This then developed into my transition into CrossFit as I could still fulfill my competitive edge through CrossFit participating myself and use my skills from coaching and group fitness to be a CrossFit Coach.
I have a passion for coaching because it allows me to connect with all different individuals through one common thing, fitness. Seeing individuals have wins inside the gym, big or small is the most fulfilling thing to me. The community and friendships I have been introduced to through CrossFit are irreplaceable. This is what keeps me coming to the gym every day to serve all in the CrossFit community.
