I grew up as an active kid and ended up running cross country and track. I very much enjoyed the mental strength and discipline required to dig deep. Oftentimes, running and endurance sports come down to who is willing to hurt the most to win. This readily translates into CrossFit. In 2012, a friend brought me to Badger CrossFit for a workout, and I was instantly hooked.
Growing up, I was always the skinny, scrawny kid. When I started CrossFit, I was 6’4” and just 164 lbs—so thin you could practically see my heartbeat! Over the years at Badger, I worked hard and gained more than 60 lbs of lean muscle, eventually settling at a healthy, strong 224 lbs. I may not be quite as fast as I once was, but I’m truly ready for anything life throws my way.
As a coach, I want to help everyone become the best version of themselves. Many times, your biggest obstacle stares back at you in the mirror. At Badger CrossFit, we can help you overcome your own self-doubt. Plus, we can make it fun, and you can make some great and lasting friendships along the way.
