I founded Badger CrossFit with one mission in mind: to help people build stronger, healthier, and more capable bodies for life beyond the gym walls. My journey into fitness started long before I ever touched a barbell. Growing up, I played multiple sports and thrived on the challenge, competition, and teamwork they demanded. Whether it was on the field, court, or track, I learned early that discipline and consistency were the foundations of progress.
Over the years, I pushed myself in a variety of athletic pursuits — from competitive team sports to endurance events and strength training. Along the way, I discovered the importance of functional fitness — training not just for appearance, but for real-world performance. That belief has shaped my entire coaching philosophy: it’s not enough to look fit, you need to be able to use your fitness.
Badger CrossFit was built as a place where people of all backgrounds could challenge themselves, grow in confidence, and discover what they’re capable of. My proudest moments as a coach aren’t about PRs or competition podiums — they’re about seeing someone do something they never thought possible.
Through years of coaching and learning, I’ve realized that fitness is a lifelong journey, not a finish line. My role is to guide people along that path, using a mix of discipline, encouragement, and the lessons I’ve learned from my own trials and triumphs.
