Make Time, Not Excuses

“I DON’T HAVE TIME.”


How many times have you heard this? BETTER YET, HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU SAID THIS? Whether it’s about squeezing in a workout, chasing a passion project, or simply being present for a loved one, this line is the go-to excuse for too many people.

Here is the thing — saying “I don’t have time” is the easy way out. It’s an off-switch, stopping any possibility of progress before it even begins. Essentially, without a second thought, you're deciding that the pursuit isn’t worth your time.
 

FLIP THAT NARRATIVE.


Instead of shutting down, start asking, “HOW DO I FIND THE TIME FOR X?” Suddenly, your brain, this incredible problem-solving machine we all have, kicks into gear. By framing it as a question, you’re prompting a search for solutions rather than quitting before you even start. 

We all have the same 24 hours, yet some achieve more in a day than others do in a month. Why? Because they don't see time as a limiting factor. They see it as an opportunity. They prioritize, adjust, and hustle. No one can magically make more time. But what you can do is be more intentional about how you spend every minute of your day. 

I don’t know your specific circumstances, but I do know you have the time to prioritize your fitness, grow your business, nourish relationships, and be present when you are around those you love. We all have the time. Some of us just waste too much of it.  

SO NEXT TIME YOU FIND YOURSELF ABOUT TO SAY, “I DON’T HAVE TIME,” CATCH YOURSELF.

Ask the better question. Find the solution that will help you find the time you need to accomplish whatever you are trying to accomplish.
