10/1 WOD: Happy October!

Today starts a beautiful month in Wisco! October - some of the best weather, food and drink we can imagine happen during this month. Of course, we have over 25 people doing the Lurong Paleo Challenge so it doesn't matter what month it is! The beautiful thing about this is that we are holding each other accountable, sharing recipes, struggles, and successes! Some of us have already lost 7+ lbs lost. Some have lost 2+% body fat fast! Not to mention, the increases in energy! Some are struggling and still are in a pit because their body has been so addicted to bad carbohydrates and sugar. It's almost like withdrawal from a substance, but it will give us a blank slate to work with. Give your body what it needs and it will reward you.But this month we have several exciting things in the works:

  • This upcoming weekend, Coach Tyler, Brie, Meghan and Erik are all travelling to Libertyville, IL to compete in the Garage Games Fitoberfest! Wish all competitors good luck as they push themselves outside their comfort zone for a competition. It's a whole different thing than just your daily CrossFit; this is CrossFit the SPORT!
  • Friday, October 19 is our Halloween Party! We need to ensure we have an RSVP list that is up to date. If you can come, please RSVP or let Tyler know.
  • Sat. Oct. 20 is our BCF Fall Throwdown (In-house!). Be sure to register on our website if you can make it. This will be epic and again, a way to compete in the SPORT of CrossFit. Plus, what more fun can be had on a Saturday! Food of course after!
