Meet Robb Widuch - BCF Intern!

Meet Robb Wudich!Written by apprentice/intern Badger CrossFit coach Robb WiduchHi everyone,My name is Robb and I am the other intern coach at BCF. I have been coaching primarily during the afternoons on both Mondays and Wednesdays. I grew up locally in the city of Greenfield and competed in many sports growing up but, I truly excelled at football. After high school I was given the opportunity to be a preferred walk-on for the Wisconsin Badger football team. After two very unproductive seasons I decided to transfer to UW-Whitewater to finish my football career. While at UWW, I was a member of two national runner-up teams and earned 1st team All-American honors. When I stopped playing college football in 2007, I began searching for something to fill that competitive void. Then last summer I watched the Crossfit Games on ESPN and I thought I may have finally found my answer. I joined Badger Crossfit in May of 2012 and entered my first competition in August and have been hooked ever since. Crossfit has been able to provide me with the competitive and team atmospheres I missed so much.Coaching and teaching are passions of mine. I have coached football at New Berlin Eisenhower High School for the past six seasons and I am also very involved in the design and implementation of their strength and conditioning programs. After two just seasons coaching football, I came to realization I want to work with young people on a full time basis. I then decided to change careers and started going back to school in order to become a high school science teacher. I have just about one year of school remaining. I am excited for the opportunity to get to know all of you and help you accomplish your fitness goals.
