Welcome BCF Apprenctice Jarrod Pelkofer!

First of all, I am incredibly excited for this opportunity to help all of you reach your crossfit goals. I feel privileged to work with all of the great BCF athletes.I grew up in Hales Corners, WI- a great place if you haven’t visited. I was raised in a basketball family. My dad was a star at my high school back in the day, as well as my uncles. From me, to my little brother, we were all successful basketball players. My sister received a division 1 scholarship along with my younger brother who is still playing at Northern Michigan University. I started my college basketball career at the University of Green Bay before I transferred and played the majority of time at La Crosse. I finished my education in Finance at UWM.I have always had a passion in fitness, and even when my basketball career was over, I continued to work out consistently. I was always trying new lifting programming, looking for the next challenge. I obtained my personal training license and then discovered crossfit. After my first class I was hooked. I enjoy the constant challenge of learning something new, or conquering a goal I have set out for myself. The team atmosphere also provides great inspiration and motivation. I attended a crossfit certification class in October. Since then I have continued to learn about crossfit and look forward to an opportunity to coach. I have started to compete when opportunities arise. My fiancé Mary also works out at BCF. We have known each other since elementary school and our competitive nature brings us close together (or at least after she was trying to beat me in basketball in high school it did). We are getting married in Milwaukee in 2014. We have both made some long lasting friends and look forward to more adventures! We love working out at 5am and look forward to seeing you bright and early!
